Just For You

I wrote this about a friend I knew. He got killed in January 2005. Me and him were like brothers. The death part is not made up, but the date part is. Enjoy…
For you may hate me,
And wish for me to die.
But I didn’t do it on purpose
I didn’t try to make you cry.

I know you felt anger
And you felt hate,
I was in danger
I missed our date.

I drove like crazy
Thinking there was nothing in my way
I wasn’t going to miss this
and ruin your day

The rain came down hard
And the traffic was heavy
I drove like a retard
And hit that semi

The last thing I thought
Was you in my head
I took one last wish
But, now I am dead

Please don’t be mad,
It wasn’t my fault,
I drove on the shoulder
And now I look like a raspberry malt.

My last wish was to see you
But it did not come true
For I am now dead
Our love ended too soon.
