Still Feel Uncomfortable about Math? Read on to find our what you can do.
Still Feel Uncomfortable About Math!

If you feel uncomfortable about Math, here are some points to think about:

1. Math is a very important skill.
2. Math isn’t a subject that men do better than women. Males and females can be equally strong in math.
3. People in the fine arts also need math. They need math to survive in the world.
4. Each of their areas of specialty also requires understanding of some math, from something like the size of a canvas, to the beats in music, to the number of seats in an audience and of cause computer-generated artwork.
5. Calculators and computers require us to be equally strong in math. A calculator is only as accurate as the person punching in the numbers. It can only compute, it cannot think!

How Is The Math Taught In School Relevant To My Child Then?

The Math taught in schools ranges from simple fractions and simple division to difficult integration. Naturally, learning about Math not only teaches your child on how to count coins but also teaches them how to think and reason logically. The syllabus in school starts from something simple so that your child can get a grip on to something more difficult to improve logical thinking. Only a small amount of people will use geometry outside school but the thinking skills gained by practicing the subject can save lives.

If you find that your child isn’t naturally incline towards Math, just make sure that he/she has a good early foundation and there’s no better way than to do that than to convince yourself that Math is extremely important and you need to take a positive attitude on teaching your kid the subject.
