Britney Spears: Lights, Camera, Auction!
Britney Spears wannabes will get their chance to purchase original outfits worn by the pop tart when she auctions them for charity.
Spears claims she "saw so many kids wearing outfits similar to mine, so I thought why not give them the chance to own the real things." The money raised by the auction will go to the Britney Spears Foundation.
Spears will be auctioning off many of her outfits including the infamous "snake-trainer" outfit she wore at the 2001 MTV video music awards. If you are not a size 4 a la Spears, she will also be auctioning off signed photos, a postcard she wrote to her Grandmother, and even a chance to meet the pop princess in person. No doubt, despite her racy image, many parents will bid on the outfits for their youngsters. That's all we need: Teenybopper Britney wannabes traipsing around in her clothes.
In other Spears news, it seems Brit is shopping for a new choreographer to replace Wade Robson. Former choreographer Robson was thought to have been behind the break-up of Spears and *N Sync-er Justin Timberlake. According to rumors, Timberlake found out that Spears had cheated on him with his friend Robson, causing the demise of their romance. Now that the rumor mill has put Spears and Timberlake on the path to reconciliation, working with Robson must be a major no-no. Sources say Spears is in talks with J. Lo's ex, Cris Judd, to possibly fill Robson's spot. It's funny how things come full circle. J. Lo marries Judd, Ben has a "fling" with Britney, and now Britney and Judd will possibly be working together. Hopefully they will make better dance partners.
