"An Angelic Visitor"
Angels who Protect
Floyd Bowers, a close friend of ours who worked in the mines of Clovis, New Mexico, had the responsibility of setting off the explosives. One particular day he was ready to push the switch when someone tapped him on the shoulder. To his surprise no one was anywhere around. Deciding it must have been his imagination, he started once again to detonate the dynamite when he felt another tap on his shoulder. Again, no one was there, so he decided to move all the ignition equipment several hundred feet back up the tunnel. When he finally plunged the charger, the whole top of the tunnel caved in exactly where he had been standing. A coincidence? You could never make our friend believe that. He knew someone had tapped him on the shoulder.
