Moonlight Kisses

The last time I saw you...
I’d love to wake up next to you
And see the moonlight caress your skin
And hold you, feel the warmth from within
Kiss your body till you open your eyes
To see inside them the moonlit skies
Holding me against you, you say nothing
Yours forever now I wear your ring
Together we pass away the time
I know you’ll protect my inner child
With you I am never cold
Because, by you, I am controlled
You’ve torn away and captured my soul
Yet without you I am not whole
Here, with happiness I am crying
Now I’m with you, no longer dying
I have woken up next to you
