Dark Horseman
You saved me when you appeared...
The night was cold
I was alone
Did not sense anyone behind me
When all of a sudden
I heard footsteps thudding
On the soft gravel beneath my feet
I whirled around
To face the sound
To try to find it’s source
But I was too slow
How could I have known
But I did see his horse
Dashing and black
Went there and back
Within no time at all
Oh how I wish that he
Would sweep me off my feet
And take me to the ball.

And take me to the ball.
