Why I'm sick and tired of the Red Sox-Yankees rivalry

If you've ever been bombarded with insults, and are as sick and tired of it as me, then you can relate to this article.
It's everywhere you turn.

You can't escape it.

I'm talking about Boston Red Sox-New York Yankees rivalry.

I'm sick of it.

See I'm a Yankees fan and I get ranked on a lot because I live in Maine, by family, friends and even complete strangers.

My cousin "Tyson" so we'll say, is always on my case.

Especially when the Sox took six of seven early in the season he wouldn't let me live it down.

He is constantly bombarding me with insults and so is another friend of mine, we'll call him "Clint."

Clint is always cracking off smart comments.

I take my deal of jokes and ridicules and dish them right back at them.

When Derek Jeter went 0 for 32 and the team wasn't up to "George Steinbrenner's Standards," Clint wouldn't shut his trap.

Who cares!

It's April for cryin' out loud!

A loss in April doesn't mean as much as a loss in September, even though they both losses.

I hear this comment the most; "Yankees Suck!"

How do they get off saying that.

It makes absolutely no sense what so ever.

Tyson told me that they don't suck, but he says it because he doesn't like the Yankees.

What?!

Just say you hate them with a passion then. Please.

The Red Sox have the talent to win a World Series, but the whole idea of the "Curse of the Bambino" gets into everyone's heads and they choke.

Take the ALCS Game 7, I heard a person say that the reason Grady Little left Pedro Martinez in the game was because of the curse and that it was meant to happen.

That has to be the stupidest thing ever said.

Six of the past eight World Series have had Yankee appearances.

They won 50% of the Series since 1996.

So to say the "Yankees Suck" is preposterous!

While all of you people keep talking about this rivalry leave me alone, I'm moving to Antarctica.
