The Bachelor Chooses Jen

You could almost hear the collective gasp as the limo door opened on Sunday night and Kirsten emerged, indicating that she would be the one to get the boot. Jen was sure she was going to walk away without a ring or Andrew and Kirsten seemed to think she was going to be the new Mrs. Firestone. Kirsten said she felt sick to her stomach and the fact that Andrew was in there with Jen made her want to throw up. With her childish behavior, Andrew should know that he made the correct choice.

What does the future hold for Andrew and Jen? Going on the past Bachelor’s track record it doesn’t look good. Both bachelor #1 Alex and bachelor #2 Aaron have dumped their potential lovemates and have moved on to greener pastures. No reports yet of the Bachelorette’s Trista dumping Ryan, but the world waits to see if they will actually make it down the aisle. Maybe Jen and Andrew did find true love on the show and will be happy until death do them part, but only time will tell.

The next installment of The Bachelor is set to air next fall and stars a castoff from the Bachelorette, Bob Guiney. Guiney charmed America with his laid back attitude, humor, and the running man. Guiney has lost 40 pounds since The Bachelorette and is looking forward to his turn in the spotlight. He has said that "conventional love" hasn’t worked for him and he is going into this process with "an open heart."
