Beyonce and Jay-Z Not Hitched

Beyonce Knowles, 22, says that she and rapper Jay-Z, 34, have not tied the knot – yet. There were reports surrounding the couple that has been dating since September 2002, saying that they had gotten married. A source was quoted as saying, "They went away to a Caribbean island two weeks ago, just them. But people are also saying they got a justice of the peace to do it quietly in California." Beyonce says, "I wouldn’t just run off and do something like that."

The couple has been dating since singing together on the track titled "03 Bonnie & Clyde" in 2002. They have been very private about their relationship. Knowles says, "I just like to feel that I have something to myself." A source close to the couple says, "They have always been secretive about their relationship, but they want to spend the rest of their lives together." Jay-Z reportedly stated at a party in January that he wanted to marry Beyonce "very soon."

Beyonce and her parents seem to have a great relationship and it would only make sense that they would be involved in whatever wedding plans Beyonce and Jay-Z may or may not be making. Both have successful music careers and Beyonce seems to be making her mark in the movie world. She is co-starring alongside Steve Martin in the upcoming movie Pink Panther. The two seem to be very happy. Speaking of a wedding, Beyonce was quoted as saying, "I will let you know when that happens."
