Marianne Poem

Well, me and my cousin were talking and she remembers when her sister would call crying every night because her boyfriend beat her…
Her lonely eyes
Make me cry
The more she cries
The more I die inside
All the pain comes together
And turns to vain
The more she cries
The more pain inside
She tried to lie
And kept it inside
I hate my self for life
For not helping her
I would have stood up for her
But I couldn't
I keep telling my self it’s not my fault
But now she’s her heart turned cold
All because I stayed quite
And didn't say a peep
