The Irony of the San Diego Agenda

It seems that there's another Zoo
In San Diego now
We find it in the courts that rule
And things they don't allow.
-
Over thirty years ago
They threw God out of school
They argued that He had to go
And myth replaced what's true
-
Piece by piece throughout the years
They systematically removed
Yet all the time relieving fears
So somehow, we approved.
-
But time has passed, and now is clear
The argument they claim
That this is simply "cultural warfare"
Will somehow wash our brain.
-
Another symbol, now it seems
That represents the past
A memorial of hopes and dreams
And faith that we hold fast -
-
Is also challenged now of late
That we "impose our view"
"Separation of church and state",
Again they want to sue.
-
"Freedom!, liberty!", as they cry
That we somehow supress.
Yet the very One that they deny
Can give to them the best.
-
The very One they want to take
Out of sight from you and me
Is the very solution to their hate,
The One that sets men free.
