Short info about best Internet business. The idea that internet marketing is the way to make a living, there are so many potentials that you would think it would take only a matter of days before the cash starts flowing in.
Pregnant on the Internet – How To Start a Business
That orgasmic moment when one conceives the idea to start a business on the Internet comes with a price.
Pregnancy.
Being pregnant is fun. At first.
But there’s a lot going on behind the scenes, and the journey from conception to delivery – let alone the wait for the child to take its first steps – is fraught with moments of delight and despair.
As a newcomer, starry-eyed and ready to believe anything, an Internet "newbie" is really something like a teenager waiting for his or her first real ‘experience’ – and there are plenty of experienced older people out there ready and willing to show you theirs.
Believe it or not, when it comes to the Internet, you can be a newbie at any age – and just as vulnerable as any inexperienced teenager.
From the moment one conceives the idea that internet marketing is the way to make a living, there are so many potentials that you would think it would take only a matter of days before the cash starts flowing in.
That’s the get-rich-quick mentality.
It’s also the thrust of the majority of the sales copy on the ‘net.
Don’t believe it.
It actually does take time to get this done.
So let’s be honest.
Do you really want to be a web master? Or is your talent better utilized in focusing on straight marketing – whether that is your own product, or those of others?
Frankly, having survived the agony of at least two stillborn web sites I do believe the average person is most likely to succeed on the Internet as a re-seller (whether as an affiliate, an associate, a dealer or franchise holder), rather than by spending tens or hundreds of hours (and dollars) on doing everything from scratch.
In other words, if you are going to give birth, you had better decide before conception exactly what it is you want to give birth to.
So here are some options, and you can make that ‘pregnancy’ a lot more comfortable if you cross off those that hold no appeal.
You can:-
Learn some basic HTML and WYSIWYG software and build your own site (takes months).
Develop your own product, service, or e-book/software AND build your own site, complete with domain name and hosting server and autoresponder and newsletter and e-mail capture form and then a list and lots of back end sales down the road (takes months and costs hundreds).
OR – Build a site to market something people ‘want’ (not what you think they ’need’) and sell that.
OR – find a product or service with a never-ending sales potential and focus on that.
OR – become an affiliate for many programs, and market them as best you can
OR - become an auction site specialist
OR – get into drop shipping (no inventory required – just persistent marketing).
All of which require your own web site and knowledge of HTML and WYSIWYG programs.
Frankly, having also seen my computer survive two near death experiences while attempting to build my own sites (viruses and worms are dreadful) I conclude that perhaps the one best Internet business, especially for the ‘newbie,’ is one which comes with all the bells and whistles already in place.
The beauty of these – provided you select a reputable one with good credentials that is clearly in business for the long term – is that all the technical work has already been done and everything you need in the way of marketing support is provided. All you have to do is make the business your business.
Before long, you will have used this turnkey opportunity to learn a great deal about Internet marketing, and ‘then’ you are ready to branch out into other things, in particular, other income streams, because everything you learn by applying yourself to a ready-made Internet business is going to stand you in good stead for every future Internet endeavor.
Plus, you really ‘can’ be in the Internet business literally overnight – not months and thousands of dollars down the road.
But at the end of the day it is up to you, not a bunch of gurus and mentors and advisors, to decide what, for you, is the best internet business, and how you will give birth to that dream.
