If someone loves you, they will love you for the rest of your life
No problems too small
No obstacles too large
They’d cherish and nurture the blessing

If someone loves you, saying I’m sorry is never heard
Apologizes could never be sorrowful
Quitting is never an option
The hands to hold would embrace

If someone loves you, you’d sing love songs--
Not sad words of hurt and remorse
You’d come to know loving eyes
See compassion through and through

If someone loves you, you'd understand
Souls who find each other and love again
Lifetime commitments
And never being alone

Only if---someone truly loves you
