Sorrow Heart

A poem that was inspired by a friend and myself - Jake Thompson
The hate is all I feel at night,
It takes a hold and strangles me tightly.
The pressure just holds my heart at hand,
Drags it down and around my spine.
Tearing through my body and soul,
Molding as one inside as whole.
My heart just beats my soul broadly,
Traveling through as one inside me.
Shredding at what it once was,
Molesting my soul at once because.
I cant take what it created,
The heartbreaks and lonely aches.
The feeling of regret and sorrow,
I'm just lost in the world of tomorrow.

But the air still chills my spine,
It fights to keep my lungs in line.
Tearing through just like a force,
one that’s not remorsed by its fright.
But instead divorced towards the light.
Sane by day but night's the fight.
Night's the reason I trend to treason,
Trader towards sanity and reason.

The darkness awakes my thoughts,
The thoughts of reality and remorse.
I can't take what my life’s created,
Its destroyed my life’s state of sane.
I'm insane but yet can't cut my vein,
So I'll wait till that special night.
The night when the night is over,
The night when my heart is sober.
