A Dream
I once had a dream that the world was meant for so much more, in this poem the person speaking is the world.
The shapes are turning,
before my eyes.
They seem not,
To know, which way to go.
The shadows,
Grow darker still.
And then a dazzling,
light erupts.
It fills in every,
crease and corner.
Showing me,
The way.
The shapes become,
Clear thoughts.
That soar before,
My open mind.
Remembering my,
Sins and hopes and dreams.
Letting go of, the life,
That I once had.
Making room,
For my true destiny.
before my eyes.
They seem not,
To know, which way to go.
The shadows,
Grow darker still.
And then a dazzling,
light erupts.
It fills in every,
crease and corner.
Showing me,
The way.
The shapes become,
Clear thoughts.
That soar before,
My open mind.
Remembering my,
Sins and hopes and dreams.
Letting go of, the life,
That I once had.
Making room,
For my true destiny.
