The Non-Surgical Face Lift

What Are Porcelain Veneers? The procedure for making Porcelain veneers begins with the removal of a thin layer of the outer enamel (about the .5mm thick). Next we take impressions of the prepared teeth and send the impressions to a dental laboratory that specializes in the fabrication of Porcelain veneers. The laboratory then artistically creates the very thin Porcelain veneers for the teeth with all the changes in shape, size, color and teeth position based on the doctor’s custom lab prescription. During the short period of time the veneers are being created, our guests have custom made temporary veneers on their teeth. At the second visit, the doctor removes the temporary veneers and bonds the porcelain veneers onto your teeth. The bonding cement is cured using a high intensity light which holds the veneers in place. The bond is extremely strong.
