Darkness

Written when I was really depressed and I felt like I was losing all of my friends. I felt alone and abandoned.
The room becomes dark
Illuminating the light that was once there
The darkness closes in on me
Leaving me in nothing but pitch blackness
I try to listen to the sounds around me
To only hear the sound of my own sobs
They fill the silent and empty air
Echoing back into my ear
I don't know what went wrong
Or how I ended up here
Is this all in my head?
Or is this for real?
All I know is that I want it to end.
I want to be back where I belong
Wherever that place may be
I just hope that it's not here
