Box of memory

Treasuring memories…
You are really special to me
So I treasure each and every memory
I put them in this memory box
So I could keep them intact

Through every second that pass
I keep looking back top the past
From the very moment you left
I keep reminiscing through this box I kept

Months and days have gone by
And my tears are now dry
A lot of changes I now see
But I still keep this box of memory

Now the time has finally come
To hand it over to the one
Not because I no longer want it
But because I know you need it

Maybe at this point you’re clueless
To you it may seem useless
But I know in time you’ll realize
Its deeper sense and real prize

So please take good care of it
Give it back next time we meet
And I hope by then you know
The prize for doing so
