Beyonce Knowles vs. Alicia Keys

Beyonce Knowles and Alicia Keys will join Missy Elliot for a 20-city Ladies First Tour. Word on the street is that Knowles and Keys do not get along and are making the tour a less-than-pleasant experience for those involved. Sources say that Knowles is incensed by the fact that some critics are saying Keys "steals the show." On the other hand, Keys is unhappy that Beyonce is featured more prominently in the promotional posters for the event. Things have gotten so bad between the two that they do not even speak, according to sources.

The feud between Beyonce and Alicia has apparently been heating up since the tour started and has become such a problem that even their entourages must be kept separate. A source said, "there’s barely a word exchanged between the two of them and their entourages are purposely kept separate. Beyonce is the tour headliner and Alicia feels as if she’s being treated like a second class citizen."

The arguments have reportedly gotten increasingly petty. The source added, "One argument between the two camps was whose bus was going to be closer to the back stage door, a distance of 40 feet at most." Good grief! It is truly amazing to witness intense pangs of jealousy among some of the world’s most gifted and adored people. Who cares whose bus is closer to the back stage door? Who cares who steals the show? There are a million other up-and-coming singers who would give their right arm just to be on the stage. It seems like maybe it is time for Alicia Keys and Beyonce Knowles to grow up and start acting like adults! Enjoy your fame and recognize and appreciate the talents of others!
