Cemetery

A feeling from someone you lost.
There is place where we all will go,
Walking through it, things seem to move slow,

The unrelenting fog rolling in from the hills,
Giving you those unmistakable chills,

The loneliness of this morbid place,
Often questioning the meaning of grace,

Seeing all the people slain,
And then feeling the rain,

Often thinking if it’s the tears of the souls,
Waiting for eternity to take its toll,

hoping there is no sadness there,
As they wistfully float in the air,

Kiss the dirt,
And let them know you no longer hurt,

The souls that were lost here today,
Are now basking in the suns rays,

Finding the escape to the unknown land,
Is directly in the palm of your hand,

Farewell to the fallen lives,
Because in the after life no one dies.
