Elizabeth Hurley: It’s a Boy for Hurley

Model and actor Elizabeth Hurley gave birth to a baby boy, Damian Charles, in London last Thursday at approximately 12:30 PM. A spokesperson said mother and baby were "happy and healthy." The question remains, who is the father? Hurley, 36, claims former boyfriend producer Stephen Bing, 35, is the father. Bing questioned the fact that he was the father of Hurley’s unborn child. "Miss Hurley and I were not in an exclusive relationship when she became pregnant," he said in a statement.

Hurley claimed she was "completely loyal and faithful" to Bing during their relationship. She was hurt by the fact the multimillionaire producer Bing reportedly wanted a DNA test to prove his paternity. Hurley wanted to settle out of court. Tabloids reported that Matthew Perry, who ironically plays Chandler Bing on Friends, was the father. Sorry, wrong Bing. Other reports stated actor Hugh Grant, Hurley’s ex, could very well indeed be the father.

Grant lent his support during her pregnancy. The couple, who split after thirteen years together in the spring of 2000, has remained close friends. They work together through their production company, Simian Films. Hurley, a former Estee Lauder spokesmodel, has appeared in such films as the first two Austin Powers movies, Bedazzled and EdTV.
