Bleeding

I do so much for you.
You have no idea what it’s like
To keep trying and trying, but always being put down.
Or do you?
I have no doubt that you have had your share of rejections.
But did you plot and scheme like I did?
Did you have to come up with a plan each day?
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think you did.
I cry each day because I know I have failed.
But with each morning comes new hope, so I still have a chance.
I lie to so many people for you.
I have made so many sacrifices to get you to like me.
And yet you still don’t seem to hear me when I say "I love you."
I truly am going nowhere.
Sometimes I wish that I would wake up
From this nightmare of torture and deceit.
But then I remember
That God has a plan for us all.
So I pray that the bad part will be over soon so I can be with you.
That’s all I ever wanted.
If you reject me
I shall bleed eternally.
Eventually, I shall die from the pain and suffering you have caused me.
Don’t leave me to bleed.
