Another Osbourne Rehabs

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne appeared on CNN’s Larry King Live on Friday and admitted that Kelly, 19, had checked into the Promises Rehabilitation Center in Malibu for an addiction to painkillers. A reporter for a British tabloid contacted Ozzy and Sharon on Friday morning and said they had a photo of Kelly involved in a drug deal on Sunset Boulevard. When the two confronted Kelly, she denied all allegations of drug abuse. She eventually came clean about her addiction after what Sharon calls "a lot of twisting" and after the maid found her stash of pills.

Kelly’s younger brother Jack reportedly escorted her to the rehab facility. Jack, 18, was admitted to a Pasadena clinic last year for his addiction to OxyContin, marijuana, and alcohol. He is about to celebrate one year of sobriety. Sharon called herself a "failure" and said she was "angry" and "let down" by the experience. Ozzy called it a "family illness."

I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. With years of watching their hard-partying father’s drug and alcohol abuse, what did the Osbourne’s expect of their kids? The teens have led a life of luxury and freedom with little boundaries set. For someone like Ozzy to tell his kids to "just say no" is laughable. Do as I say, not as I do? The oldest Osbourne, Aimee, seems to be the one with the most sense. She refuses to appear on the reality show and chooses to lead a semi-private life.
