A recent photo shoot for the cover of Vanity Fair turned ugly for the stars of Desperate Housewives, leaving one star in tears while another stormed off. It seems that there is a bit of a rivalry between the gang, most notably between Marcia Cross who portrays Bree, and Teri Hatcher, who plays Susan. All five stars including Hatcher, Cross, Eva Longoria, Felicity Huffman, and Nicolette Sheridan appear on the cover of the May issue in vintage style swimwear and a caption reading, "You wouldn't believe what it took just to get this photo!" Inside the magazine is an article about what really happened during the photo shoot.

Reportedly, Cross didn't take kindly to the supposed "star treatment" that Hatcher received. An ABC rep reportedly requested that Hatcher not have first choice of wardrobe and that she not be in the center of the photo. Apparently, Hatcher did go into wardrobe first and had already spoken to the stylist days before the shoot. Cross allegedly lost her cool when Hatcher appeared in a very sexy red bathing suit in the center of the photo. Cross grabbed her bathrobe and stalked off the set yelling expletives at the rep leaving Hatcher in tears. In the final shot, Sheridan appears in the middle of the picture with Cross and Hatcher at opposite ends.

Of course, the producers of the show are now trying to play down the event and are trying to convince the public that the five stars don't hate each other. The producers said in a statement, "This shoot simply did not go as planned. Because of this, our talent was made to deal as best they could with a situation not of their making. This one isolated incident does not define these women or their relationship." But, seriously, doesn't it?
