Someday Love

Shakespearean sonnet written for the man I love...
My hand you hold as now does rise the sun
at last your love for me you've come to show
at last I know that you shall be the one
and now the winds of us as one shall blow
my love I hope that soon we will be wed
your children I wish one day I will bear
your loss is all that I have come to dread
and then the scar of you my heart will wear
If love for you shall ever fade away
my tears will never find that they're in drought
I know that you'll be back with me someday
of that my heart will never come to doubt
so now I know our love is always true
forever, I will always stay with you
