Sheen’s manage, Mark Burg, has reportedly come to his defense saying, "All of this is nothing more than child-custody issues. This all started because Charlie wanted 50-50 custody…When Denise said no, Charlie said, ‘Then let a judge decide.’ The next day, she comes out with a bunch of bull[bleep] claims." Burg goes on to say that Richards’ behavior is "the single worst behavior of a parent" he has ever seen. Burg added, "This shouldn’t be fought in the press."

As for Richards, it seems as if she has done a good job of alienating a lot of people recently. It has recently come out that Richards has been dating Richie Sambora. First it was reported that they began seeing each other in March, but now it is being alleged that the two have been getting hot and heavy since November. Sambora is currently in the process of getting a divorce from Heather Locklear, Richards’ former best friend. It has been reported that Locklear is "utterly devastated" by the news that someone so close to her could betray her like this.

Lately, Locklear has been romantically involved with comedian David Spade. Recently, Spade was asked about Locklear and how she was handling the romance between Richards and Sambora. Spade said, "All I know is she’s home nursing her knife wounds in the back tonight." When asked how he felt about it, Spade said, "That whole thing – objectively — looks a little rough. But I think that’s the common opinion. Guys you can kind of not trust. But girls usually cover each other. That’s why that makes that rougher than usual." Reportedly, Locklear and Richards share a lot of the same friends. A source said, "No one is talking to Denise right now. They are all just appalled."
