You're Perfect

A poem about being in love, and it'd be oh so simple... if only it weren't so complicated.
Look, I'm sorry, I love you,
I know I always mess you around,
But it's so hard to take you back,
When you dropped my heart to the ground,

You picked it up for me,
You cleaned off the dust and dirt,
But it seems that it was slightly bruised,
And that's what really hurt,

And I tell you I want to be friends,
Because we get on so well,
But we both know it's because we're perfect,
But I won't be the one to tell!

I'll say I really like my new boyfriend,
And you'll tell me all about your new girl,
Both in an obvious attempt to be better,
To make the other more jealous than hell!

You know that I still love you,
I know you're sorry, so am I,
But I still have to wait around for you,
Until the happy day we die...

Shoud I just tell him?
No, you both have to move on
Yes, if he's the one you should be with him
