Jessica Simpson Upset over Interview
Reportedly, Jessica Simpson is upset with estranged hubby Nick Lachey for a recent interview he did about their split.

It has been reported that Simpson was devastated about the interview that Lachey recently gave for Rolling Stone magazine about intimate details of their marriage and separation. Said a source close to Simpson, "She was devastated, heartbroken. She didn’t think he would do that." Allegedly the day the article came out she had a number of friends over to her house and they consoled her. Lachey even reportedly called. A friend close to Lachey said, "He wanted her to hear it from him. He felt bad that she was upset. (But) Nick didn’t apologize, because the things he said (in the article) only demonstrate that he loves her."
Lachey said he was "blindsided" by Simpson’s wish to get a divorce and says he still loves her. In the interview he said that he was told his marriage was over and that Simpson refused to seek counseling. He also said he was not sure if there was any truth to the rumors that she had affairs with Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, and Adam Levine during their marriage. He claims that he would marry her all over again.
Simpson seems to think he is using this interview to help promote the release of his upcoming album. Said a friend of Simpson’s, "What really upset her was the timing. Nick waited until two weeks before his album to debut to tell a reporter that he still loved Jessica. That’s not cool." Lachey’s album What’s Left of Me is slated to be released on May 9. Simpson’s friend added, "He keeps saying ‘I’m sorry I couldn’t make her happy,’ but he is not choosing to say why." Simpson has decided to keep mum about the split. Said the friend, "She will not take the low road."
