Why Doesn't Kill Makes You Stronger?

A poem for everyone that writes these poems to read, please read.
All Everyone writes about is the feelings they have
Depression, when they cut, the blood the pain
The feeling your having when your about to cut the vain

None of you get it
It’s like it’s your last choice
When something’s gone wrong
It’s like cuttings your inner voice

That’s all you think of when something’s gone wrong
"why don’t I just cut myself, there’s no where I belong"

So you do, with tears running down your face
Thoughts in your head, saying you want to leave this place
You grab the first blade you see and sit there crying
Run the blade over your skin, and watch the blood come out
And lie there while you’re slowly dying.

Don’t you see that’s the easy way out
Killing yourself, you'll never get to know what life’s really about
It’s full of challenges, happiness and love
But when something goes wrong you want to release your spirit to the above

So many cuts upon your wrists and legs
Each a memory engraved in your skin,
To remind you of the bad and the pain within

Let me guess your judging me?
Thinking that I don’t know about it, any of it
But take some time and realize how much I do know

I know about pain,
About empty feelings
Depression
And more
I do know how it feels to be alone on the floor
With a blade in your hand
Begging for someone’s help
I do have a bruised heart
And I know I’m not whole
Family, relationships and not being accepted
No one cares and being rejected,
I know..
And I have been through hell
But look at me now, scarred but doing well.

The thing about life is you got to make your own happiness
It’s hard but possible
Talk to someone, join in the fun
Smile to yourself and have good self talk
Spoil yourself or have a nice peaceful walk

Something good will soon come your way
Times all it takes
Life has the good and bad and plenty of heart breaks
But one thing that’s kept me strong
The one saying that’s true to us all
"what doesn’t kill makes you stronger"

Be happy. You deserve it. Keep in mind that life’s unpredictable
Your body doesn’t need to be punished for it.
Like mine has been.
