The Steel Girl

I may look like I'm happy, in fact I hope I do, but on the inside it's a completely different story!
I'll get on without you,
It's not like I really cared,
You were just a little fling,
You were just always there,
It's not as though we were serious,
It’s not like I got attached,
You were nothing more than a kiss,
I'll keep telling myself that,
I made sure I couldn't be hurt,
I created our fling out of steel,
I decided I could be the girl,
The one who doesn't feel,

It didn't work,
I'm sorry,
I admit my eyes are dry,
But inside my heart is breaking,
I just don't know how to cry...
