My Little Light
It's about the feeling that I get when I'm around my friends who seem to have nothing left.
Darkness all around me,
Darkness rushing by,
I feel the guilt rising in my chest,
Because the darkness isn't apart of me,
Because I have a little light.
I tried to share my light with others,
But they just tried to blow it out.
My light it's getting dimmer,
And I don't know what to do.
I can barely see it now, it's almost through.
I know that if I find someone,
Who has a little light too,
We can put our light together,
Then look for more like us,
I just hope that they don't hide their lights...
Like I do.
