Henman and Murray Bust in Monte Carlo

Tennis: Tim Henman and Andy Murray were dumped out of the doubles quarter-finals of the Masters Series event in Monte Carlo.
Tim Henman and Andy Murray narrowly missed out on a place in the doubles quarter-finals of the Masters Series event in Monte Carlo.

The wildcard British pair took the opening set but were eventually beaten 6-3, 3-6, 8-10 by third seeds Nenad Zimonjic and Fabrice Santoro.

It looked as though an upset was on the cards when Henman and Murray also forged an early break of serve in the second set, but the greater doubles experience of their opponents eventually told.

A 'champions' tie-break was required to settle the match and Murray's easy missed volley at 8-8 proved decisive.
