Bobby Brown's $1M interview?

Bobby Brown reportedly demanded $1 million to do an interview with a tabloid about his alleged indiscretions while wife Whitney rehabs.

Late last month singer Whitney Houston entered a rehabilitation center for her drug addiction about one-year after her first rehab stint. The singer is currently residing in the Crossroad’s Center in Antigua. Hubby Bobby Brown is staying in a nearby hotel and it has been reported that while his wife is in rehab, he has been enjoying several sexcapades with other women. While the wife is in rehab, the hubby will behave like a cad. The National Enquirer is the tabloid that ran the story concerning his alleged flings.

Now it has been reported that the tabloid’s senior reporter, Patricia Shipp, recently contacted Brown and asked him to do an interview on the record about the story and the alleged affairs. Shipp stated, "He told me he would talk to me if I paid him $1 million." According to Shipp, Brown requested a face-to-face meeting and to be paid in cash. Said Shipp, "He said absolutely no checks…What could you possibly say that is worth $1 million?"

After years of denying the use of drugs, Houston admitted during a 2002 interview with Diane Sawyer on Primetimeto having used cocaine, marijuana, and pills. Houston, 41, said that she was using the power of prayer to overcome her addictions. Apparently, she didn’t pray hard enough as she has since reentered rehab. Many believe that Houston’s 1992 marriage to troubled singer Bobby Brown was her downfall. The two have endured a rocky marriage and have a 12-year old daughter, Bobbi Kristina. Houston has been working on a comeback album with producer Clive Davis. Guess that is on hold until she can come to grips with her demons.
