Tick Tock

The heartaches that come along with motherhood...
Angry voices assault the ears,
Tick tock, tick tock…
A mothers face running tears,
Tick tock, tick tock…
Vows are broken, lives shattered,
Tick tock, tick tock…
Love the only thing that mattered,
Tick tock, tick tock…
Three sons with three divorces,
Tick tock, tick tock…
Nearing the end of her life’s courses,
Tick tock, tick tock…
Four grandchildren with weeping eyes,
Tick tock, tick tock…
The heart of the mother dies,
Tick tock, tick tock…
