Sisters – Who never get bored from you !
"What's the good of news if you haven't a sister to share it?" Not only good news even I was unable to cry till I get my sister’s shoulder.
I am the youngest one in my family. My brother is taller, smart and handsome than me. Something which gets jealous towards him is – he has younger sister where I don’t have. But I am little lucky enough to get all my sisters’ love perfectly, as I am the younger one.
I was in 2nd standard when I participated in painting competition. However other participants were quite enough intelligence to work out on topic with all mind boggling exercise to draw a fantastic painting. I had hardly seen the world. At that time I knew one person more than my mother. There were two circles as heads, two vertical lines as bodies and four crossed lines as hands with four more straight lines as legs. Nothing more. It was enough to win a competition with a simple title – My Sister & I.
"Thanks to birth order... I have something, she'll never have: a powerhouse to be inspired by."
- Patricia Volk on her sister Jo Ann.
This is applicable to me also. Thanks God for giving me a so wonderful person on earth.
For there is no friend like a sister
In calm or stormy weather;
To cheer one on the tedious way,
To fetch one if one goes astray,
To lift one if one totters down,
To strengthen whilst one stands.
-Christina Rossetti
My wish is to establish so many companies and places where I can put my sister’s name ahead. I pray god to get successes only with her name. She has made really lightening effect on my life. I can say proudly I am inspired by her.
Unluckily I am failed in love enough. I am four times rejected by girls whom I loved most. But i was always good friend for them. Thanks. It becomes my habit to call my sister to give news regarding my broken heart so that she can again fit the pieces on right place to create new lovely heart.
I had hardly friends in my life. But I never felt it till I went far from my sister to make my career. As Cali Rae Turner rightly said, "The best thing about having a sister was that I always had a friend." Probably I am also able to express same thing. Would you like to say same thing?
You are the most luckiest person and you might have done virtues in earlier lives so that you get an elder sister.
An older sister is a friend and defender - a listener, conspirator, a counselor and a sharer of delights. And sorrows too. - Pam Brown
I never expressed my grief if she became angry on me. I was used to get angry with god looking to the sky to say " Can’t you control me?" She still today smiles when she recalls old days. She was used to take care of my every activity from the morning. I always feel that i am lucky enough to get two mothers’ love.
Sisterly love is, of all sentiments, the most abstract. Nature does not grant it any functions. - Ugo Betti. Truely it is not possible even for me to put in words. It is just marvelous! Even I was not able to cry till I get my sister’s shoulder.
"A sister is a gift to the heart, a friend to the spirit, a golden thread to the meaning of life, " says Isadora James.
Ami – my elder sister was used to remain busy in work other than caring for me. Then who was to play with me? Tantannnnaaa..... Welcome to my another dear sisters. They believed in playing, teasing and studying with me. Both mira and rashmi were enough intelligent to compete me and flop my all ideas. I still remember those Navratri (a gujarati nine days festival) where I was used to go with them on dandiya as guard. I was having so many girlfriends in my childhood because of my sisters. Once I changed school, I lost company and girlfriends too. So poor about me.
But thank god no one was able to point finger on me because of them. Sisters annoy, interfere, and criticize. Indulge in monumental sulks, in huffs, in snide remarks. Borrow. Break. Monopolize the bathroom. Are always underfoot. But if catastrophe should strike, sisters are there. Defending you against all comers. Well Pam Brown is right.
There is a historical swing at my home. We were used to fight for swinging. Well it happened with anyone. If any one of us becomes so great then we will request government to name it " The swing of rights." Because we had make turn on the basis of rights. In our home there was no difference among boys and girls. All were having same rights. So good na!! I thank Deborah Moggach to understand this situation even better: - "Whatever you do they will love you; even if they don't love you they are connected to you till you die. You can be boring and tedious with sisters, whereas you have to put on a good face with friends."
I really dislike marriage. Marriage will separate my sisters from me. Later she will be busy with all her work and family and I have to play my role. Is there any such lovely sister who can take stand of my sisters? I beg your pardon.
Oh !! Who will listen to all my memories then?
