A New York Times investigation exposing how George Bush ordered domestic wiretapping without court oversight shared a Pulitzer prize for national reporting yesterday.
A New York Times investigation exposing how George Bush ordered domestic wiretapping without court oversight shared a Pulitzer prize for national reporting yesterday, in an honours list dominated by national security and corruption.

The investigation by James Risen and Eric Lichtblau, which was published in December, set off a firestorm.

Dana Priest of the Washington Post was recognised for reporting on CIA renditions and the secret prison network.

Following Hurricane Katrina, the Times Picayne of New Orleans won an award for public service.
