Holy roller coaster
The story of a little girl and a roller coaster... hilarious.
When my oldest granddaughter was about 6 years old she was really brave. She wanted to ride the scream machine at Six Flags so bad. Petie-pie begged and pleaded with her parents to let her ride it with them. Look, look she said, I am as tall as the sign. At long last they agreed. She was jumping up and down with excitement. Oh yes, this was going to be a thrill. She would have bragging rights now! Her Nannie would not ride it. No way, her grandmother turned pale thinking about it. Petie could just taste the sweet victory this was going to be at school as well. They boarded the roller coaster…Petie with her father and her mother behind her. She was still so happy. Up the first hill they go and Petie begins to sweat this a bit. At the top of the hill she decides that she wants off the coaster. She turns to her dad and tells him to stop the thing and get her off. Her dad explains that there is no way to get off the coaster, it is too high and too dangerous with no ladders. Petie shrieks all the way down the hill and tells her dad to stop this thing and get me off. Her dad explains once again that he cannot do it. Petie screams down the second hill. (Maybe this is why it’s called the scream machine.) Going up the third hill, and the last one, Petie realizes that her father cannot stop the coaster. She shouts at the top of her lungs, "In the name of Jesus Christ get thee behind me roller coaster!"
