Love and Hate

A dialect poem about the essence of love and hate.
love

dat burnin dat cha feels inside

rouns up inside jah chess

dat flame means wez iz bless

notice how dat fire grows

each time you tryz tah sharez

a look,?.a touch,?.a laugh,?.a moment that?

shows someone that you carez,?.

dats love right dare!?.

dats love right dare,? I swear!

cuz ya caint control dah heat!!

youz ah red hot nattrah furnuss from

yo head down to yo feet?

carez is dah fuel dat feeds dah flames

to warm dah folkes you meet..

love lives because we share

hate

dah coal black nasty shadow that

appears to curse dah lite

itz anger, hatred, envy, lies..

itz frownin wit a smilez disguise

itz war, aggression, violence, spiez

itz killin folkz foe askin whyz

itz watchin children diez

itz sittin in a room wit folkz

an plannin other folkz demise

itz makin peoplez criez

'itz policticz and liez'

datz hate right dare?

datz hate right dare,? I swear!

hate lives when weez doughn carez
