Affleck & Clooney’s Ex?

There have been rumors that Ben Affleck has struck up a possible romance with Krista Allen, George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend. Sources say that Affleck and Allen originally met in February at a celebrity poker tournament in Los Angeles. A few weeks later Allen broke off her two-year relationship with actor George Clooney claiming that he "wouldn’t commit to marriage." Friends of Allen’s say that she was devastated by the break-up, that is until she ran into Affleck again last month.

A source close to Allen, 32, says that she ran into Affleck, 31, at the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas and they "really hit it off." The source also said, "They hung out and had a lot of fun. He really likes her sense of humor and her energy. Krista is a total goofball." The two were spotted a few weeks ago looking pretty cozy at a fundraiser for John Kerry. An onlooker reported, "They were standing very close, definitely crossing that line into ‘intimate space.’ They seemed very at ease with each other." A friend of Allen’s says, "Krista has a total crush on him."

There have been conflicting rumors about what has really happened between Affleck and Allen. One source claims the two have become intimately involved, while another claims the two haven’t taken it to the next level. Whatever the case may be, they are both single and on the rebound. This may be the worst possible way to begin a relationship or just a welcome distraction. Who knows what the future may hold for them, no one could have predicted the complete and utter disaster that was known as Bennifer. Hopefully history doesn’t repeat itself with Kristaffleck.
