Jennifer Aniston is a Godmother

Jennifer Aniston joined Friends co-star Courteney Cox and her husband David Arquette for the baptism of their daughter Coco on Saturday.

Aniston was named one of ten-month old Coco’s godmothers during the baptism at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Birmingham, Alabama. The ceremony took place in front of about 110 family members and friends and was presided over by Reverend Doug Carpenter, who married Cox and Arquette in 1999. The Reverend declared the ceremony a "wonderful gathering." And he added, "There were no cameras during the ceremony, but afterward, everyone wanted their pictures taken with the stars."

Since they co-starred on Friends, Aniston and Cox have been very close friends. Aniston relied on Courteney and David when her marriage to Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt took a turn for the worse. Recently, Aniston was named Showiest Female of the Year at a recent awards ceremony and Courteney and David took out a full page in the Hollywood Reporter. It read, "Congratulations, Jennifer. Your enormous heart makes you an incredible actress and a beautiful friend. We love you. Courteney, David, and Coco."

Aniston filed for divorce last month, three months after it was announced she and Pitt were separating. Recently it was reported that being married to Pitt made Aniston feel "insecure" and that married life was "far from perfect." She said, "When your parents split up, like mine did, it’s impossible to delude yourself about fairytale romance and happy endings. I think it taught me that life isn’t always perfect and gave me a realistic approach to marriage, which I value. Marriage brought up all the kind of things I pushed to the back-burner – the fear, the mistrust, the doubts, and the insecurities." Aniston also said that she and Pitt would remain friends and that he is the "kindest person" she has ever met.
