Krescent4-Rock

Title: Rock
Genre: Rock-Metal-Alternative
Label: Independent
I have not heard from Krescent4 since 2002. I do remember being quite impressed with their energy and sound back then. You will be glad to know that my opinion has not changed.
Their new EP is simply and appropriately, titled Rock. It is a killer set of six tracks. Stimy sounds great; he is in total command of being the front man of this hard driving band. The trio behind him has no problem getting the job done either. Kris Keller is explosive on the six-string, he never lets up for one second on all six tracks, man he just cuts loose and rocks so hard. The foundation that Keller lays his fat power chords on is provided by Adam Nine (bass) and Kurt Keller (drums). They are the engine that keeps this juggernaut running non-stop.
I really love this band and the only thing that disappoints me is that this is not a full-length album, as the last release was an EP as well. Nevertheless, they certainly entertain enough in the six tracks…more than most bands would. Krescent4 rocks hard, they have a sound that is clean and sharp. I really like the way they put their heads down and get to work with this music. Its obvious to me that this band is very serious about getting some attention and I do not think that will be a problem. They cannot loose with a sound that is so powerful and attention grabbing. The vibe you feel with this band is spot on with bands like Godsmack and Metallica. Not a bad comparison of energy levels if you like to rock eh? Check these guys out I know you will love them if you want to shake your fist in air, scream and holler, let your hair down, well, you get it, just play the music on take a "Mind Ride."
