Jennifer Lopez Sues Ex

Lopez contends that Noa demanded $5 million to not publish a reported "tell all" book about their relationship. The lawsuit was filed Monday is Los Angeles Superior Court and she is seeking a restraining order to keep the book under wraps and out of the public eye. A description of the book, titled The Unknown Truth: A Passionate Portrait of a Serial Thriller, was featured in the January 11tedition of the New York Post prompting Lopez’s lawyers to take action and contact Noa’s camp.

Noa responded via letter and according to the lawsuit said "that he would not agree to refrain from marketing his book unless (Lopez) paid him the sum of $5 million." Lopez retaliated saying that he had violated a confidentiality agreement that was put into effect last October after Noa was fired as manager of Madre’s, Lopez’s Pasadena, California restaurant. He retaliated claiming La Lopez fired him without cause. He eventually dropped his lawsuit and agreed to not discuss the intimate details of his relationship with Lopez or make money off of her name or their marriage details.

In the book, Noa claims that Lopez had a fling while filming Anaconda with one of her co-stars and that she had an affair with Marc Anthony while he was still married to Dayanara Torres. Lopez and Noa met while he was working as a waiter in Miami. The two were married in 1997 and divorced 11-months later. Her second marriage to back-up dancer Cris Judd lasted a mere nine months in 2001. She married Marc Anthony in 2004.
