Happiness Hangs

About a break up...
Happiness hangs from a beam in the ceiling,
Silently swaying, "Oh what a feeling."

I long for the days, old, dead and decayed,
The love that I had, the games that we played.

The way that the stars would dance in her eyes.
The way that with her, I shed my disguise.

But, now things are different and I can't recall
why I tried to fight this, so again I fall.

Look past the blank stare, you'll see that I'm there.
Catastrophe dreams yet I sleep unaware.

So again I pretend that this life will not end,
and just keep on blazing, no lines to defend.

Why do we live only to destroy each other?
I suck
You suck
That's life
The fates are cruel
Somethings wrong with the world
Something's wrong w/ me
I worry too much
Will love ever find me?
I know that's not a question...
...sorry
