Nick Lachey’s New Romance?

Despite denials from both camps, sources say that Lachey and Cavallari were spotted going on several more than friendly dates. It has been reported that Lachey introduced Cavallari to his mother and they were allegedly seen at Koi in Los Angeles last week. Cavallari slams the reports saying, "There’s nothing to talk about, there’s nothing going on. He’s a nice guy, but I’d have to say we’re just friends." Allegedly, the two went on a few dates but things quickly cooled off. Cavallari and her boyfriend of five-months, Brody Jenner, just recently announced their split.

As for the rumors, Lachey and his family reportedly ran into Cavallari and friends at a Los Angeles eatery and the two were both spotted at Koi, but Lachey was dining with his agent and not sharing a romantic dinner with Cavallari. A source close to Lachey has said, "Nick is not looking for a girlfriend or anything serious. He is a single guy now…Whatever happened was extremely casual."

If every rumor is to be believed, Lachey has been hitting the dating scene hard. He was reportedly dating former Miss Kentucky USA Lizzie Arnold and has been romantically linked to Cheryl Burke, brother Drew’s Dancing with the Stars partner. Besides being rumored to be dating Cavallari, it has been reported that Lachey has recently been seen with a USC student who allegedly looks a lot like his ex Jessica Simpson. Lachey’s close friend Alyssa Milano said, "Nick is simply enjoying being single. Every time I see him, he’s got a bevy of women around him."
