Last week Denise Richards filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences after nearly three years of marriage to actor Charlie Sheen. There were rumors that Richards caught Sheen in a compromising position with his assistant. Reportedly, she caught him with his pants down – no pun intended – at a hotel and went immediately to her lawyer’s office. According to Sheen, that is not the case. He said, "I did not cheat on my wife. These stories and allegations are unconscionable. The reason for our separation is a private matter between the two of us."

The couple has a one-year old daughter named Sam, and Richards is six-months pregnant with their second child. Richards is seeking full-custody of the children and spousal support payments. The split came as a shock since the two have always been very supportive of one another and have done numerous projects together. They have appeared in Scary Movie 3 together and Richards has guest-starred on Sheen’s sitcom Two and a Half Men a few times.

The two were both in 1993’s Loaded Weapon 1 and in the 2001 romantic comedy Good Advice. They clicked romantically after Richards guest starred on Spin City. They said, "I do" in June 2002 and have been gushing about one another since…until last week, when Richards filed for divorce. With Charlie’s track record, it is no wonder that people speculated about whether or not he cheated on her. Everyone thought he had turned his back on his bad boy behavior. Who knows what really happened…if it wasn’t bad boy Charlie’s fault maybe "Wild Thing" Denise is to blame…
