Ashlee Simpson and Wilmer Valderrama Romance

It has been reported that singer Ashlee Simpson, 20, and Wilmer Valderrama, 25, have recently begun dating. Valderrama was most recently linked to Mean Girlsstar Lindsay Lohan who is pals with Simpson. Ouch! Allegedly, about a month ago Simpson offered to act as a "mediator" between Lindsay and Wilmer after their break-up last fall. A source said, "Ashlee knew how much Lindsay still cared for Wilmer, so she volunteered to try to get them back together. But the plan backfired and now Ashlee has the hots for Wilmer and Lindsay is freaking out that the woman she trusted is seeing him herself!"

Simpson and Valderrama reportedly have tried to keep the fact that they are dating on the "down low" so as not to hurt Lohan’s feelings, but the two have been seen partying it up together more and more. They claim to be "just friends" but those close to them know that there is more going on between the two. Simpson has been on-again-off-again with singer Ryan Cabrerra, but now it looks like they are "off-again" if she is seeing Valderrama.

Lohan has been enjoying her time in Louisiana while filming her latest movie tentatively titled Just My Luck. It was rumored that she was romancing Johnny Knoxville, who is currently filming The Dukes of Hazzard with Jessica Simpson and Sean William Scott. Lohan and Knoxville have both denied the romance reports, but sources on the set of Lohan’s movie say differently. Fireworks should definitely fly between the two popsters once Lohan is done filming and back in La La Land. Said a friend of Lohan’s, "It ought to be interesting to see what happens when Lindsay arrives back in town and confronts Ashlee!"
