Will You Help Me, Please?

A Story of selfless acts of courage and sacrifices of the American soldier and the loved ones left behind.
After 911, the rage of all Americans to go to war in retaliation for the senseless lives lost on that day, Patriotism soars, and young men answer their patriotic call to serve and defend their country. It would seem that all of America were of one mind and in agreement as to what needed to be done.

We all watched in aw as those towers fell, over and over and over again, as the historic images were permanently burned into our minds. The stories of those un- sung hero's, who when they got out of bed that morning and planed for a ho-hum usual day in the big city ,and not knowing how their lives were to forever be changed.

Young men from all walks of life, from all over the country have stepped up to defend all of us and our loved ones, while leaving their loved ones behind to cope with the every day troubles and hardships. Self less acts of love for GOD and country, and the loved ones they leave behind, they answered the call for all of us.

I recently received a request from one of those hero's who answered the call, and this is his request to all of us:

Flight Sergeant
BAGHDAD AB, IRAQ

Tough times don't last... Tough people do !!!

My name is Gary Hogman. Some of you receiving this know me, some do not.

My wife, Cindy, is 32 years old and has just been diagnosed 3 days ago with stage 4 cervical cancer and her chances for survival are very slim. She was pregnant with our second child and had miscarried recently at 3 months, and now we know why. This is a request for you to forward this e-mail to everyone you know asking for prayer. The more people that we have praying for her to be healed will be so much better. Pray and forward. It only takes a second to hit "forward".

Please do it and don't delete this, your prayer can and perhaps will save her life. Please pray and ask everyone you know to pray for the HEALING of Cindy, removal of all
cancer in her body so she may enjoy all that life has to offer, and to continue to be the wonderful mother to our 5 year old son, Michael.

The power of Prayer is unsurpassed. I want the whole world to have her in their prayers the next few weeks. God will hear our cry. Please do not be offended by my plea. This is only a request for your help.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading this and helping with our request for healing!! No words can express the power we have when we each do a little to come together.

Regards, Cindy's in-love husband - Gary
Thank you, and please send it to the far reaches of our world.

Let us all take a moment and remember all those silent heroes, who each day lay it all on the line to protect all of us and the loved ones left behind. Gary and Cindy’s story happened several years ago and we’ve learned that she has recovered, and according to Gary is doing real fine. But he reminds us that there are still a lot of people who are battling cancer and that his wish is that we pray for their healing as we did his wife Cindy. Believe in he promises. James 5:16 states, Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye maybe healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Our thanks to Gary & Cindy for sharing their story.
