The Hidden Voice Of Lies

If you lie once, it becomes a habit...
There's a voice
inside me that lies
kept in the shadows
for no one to find

It lies about my identity
it lies about my life
it lies about how I feel

The voice is invincible
it speaks for anyone
who tries to tell the truth
it then takes over life after life

Today I've put my foot down
alone I stood
and alone I went down
