Drunk Driver

Just a poem about drunk driving...
Dying because of a drunk driver
Why couldn't he be sober?

I didn't want to die
My life was just starting
And now it’s ending

I never got to say goodbye
Because everything happened so fast
I didn't even have time to cry

One mile away from the car who hit me
Conscious and bleeding i was laying
Paramedics fought to keep me from dying
Because life was worth living

The drunk driver's life unsolved
And my life destroyed

The pain was too strong to handle
That's why not a tear fell down from my eyes

My lungs are getting smaller and weaker
Now I appreciate everything I learned
I'm staring to wonder where I'm going to go
To heaven up above or to hell

Tell my friends not to forget me
Tell my enemies I forgive them
And tell my family I love them

My last breath is getting closer
All because of the drunk driver
