Abstract
"If you want anything said, ask a man. If you want something done, ask a woman." - Margaret Thatcher
Ladies and Gentlemen
Let’s meet some great rulers & leaders from history.
She was highly educated and possessed an impressive intellect, being a student of philosophy and international relations. She was the ambitious last ruler of the Macedonian Dynasty of Ancient Egypt. None another than Cleopatra, a Queen of Egypt.
She was highly educated. During her colorful 45-year reign, England became a strong European power, a vibrant commercial force, and a place of intellectual accomplishment. She was Queen of England
"Elizabeth I".
She was India's first & very successful Prime Minister. After her father's death, she was elected to Parliament in his place, becoming Prime Minister herself in 1966. She continued many of her father's policies, such as pressing for land reform and the nationalization of banks. She was Indira Gandhi.
Margaret Thatcher was Britain's first female Prime Minister, and first British Prime Minister in the twentieth century to win three consecutive terms. A lawyer, Margaret first entered Parliament in 1959, eventually serving in a variety of ministerial posts. "The Iron Lady" because of her hard line against the USSR over their invasion of Afghanistan, and because when Argentina challenged Britain's right to the Falkland Islands, she went to war.
Mohandas K. Gandhi said, "There is no occasion for women to consider themselves subordinate or inferior to men."
It’s true. History has number of example to prove Mr. Gandhi’s statements. We shall never forget them. Anyhow we get one day in our 365 or 366 days where we can recall and regard them. That is 8th March.
One day for her…
International Women's Day (8 March) is an occasion marked by women's groups around the world. This date is also commemorated at the United Nations and is designated in many countries as a national holiday.
When women on all continents, often divided by national boundaries and by ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic and political differences, come together to celebrate their Day, they can look back to a tradition that represents at least nine decades of struggle for equality, justice, peace and development.
History says.
International Women's Day is the story of ordinary women as makers of history; it is rooted in the centuries-old struggle of women to participate in society on an equal footing with men. In ancient Greece, Lysistrata initiated a sexual strike against men in order to end war; during the French Revolution, Parisian women calling for "liberty, equality, fraternity" marched on Versailles to demand women's suffrage.
The idea of an International Women's Day first arose at the turn of the century, which in the industrialized world was a period of expansion and turbulence, booming population growth and radical ideologies.

Life of a Woman
Reality is always different than what we write. She takes birth as a daughter. I don’t know about other countries but in India the birth of a girl is not really highly appreciated by family members. But still in Hindu religion birth of a woman is considered as a birth of "Laxmi" – a wealth goddess.
She becomes a sister who really loves and takes care of her brother by heart. As a daughter she helps mother in household works. Still she learns & get educated for her husband whom she has never seen.
She marries and becomes a part of an another family. Her responsibilities are more than earlier. She becomes wife & mother in this new family.
I am just tired by counting so many roles of a single woman. Just imagine her life. If male were instead of her, how could he manage so much? As a male dominates the world, she never gets equal position.
"Let us treat men and women well; treat them as if they were real. Perhaps they are." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
Shut down this system
Emma Goldman: "Women need not always keep their mouths shut and their wombs open."
No objection, probably it is correct statement. But we much change it.
We consider this century – a highly educated & prosperous century. A modern age. But still there are some issues, which need solutions.
Leave uneducated as an exception. Educated also wants to see a girl in short dress with all sexual appeals in any advertisements or movies. Media is really exploiting women. Why do they do? Because we really enjoying & seeing. Exploitation of women is really a serious issue. Adult society, however, feels helpless in the face of the steadily growing number of degrading jobs for young women -- pole dancers, teahouse girls, hostess bar princesses, escort girls, betel-nut beauties, liquor girls and phone-sex operators. Selling women is still a big business. It is seen in poor countries. Take the case of abortion. It is nothing but a crude exploitation.
Why do we forget the laws? We need really strict implementation of "Women’s rights." How can we forget that life on the planet is born of woman?
